ABOUT
heinsburg community Club
Heinsburg Community Hall is a non-profit organization with campsites and hall rentals for community events. Our hall is available for rent for various occasions, such as weddings, reunions, and meetings. We also organize community events throughout the year, including community suppers. Check out our calendar of events for upcoming activities, and join us for some fun!

Marvin Botting
Marvin Botting moved to Heinsburg in 1937 with his family. He joined the Heinsburg Community Club in 1968 and helped out in various ways. He was a quiet, kind, and humble man who loved to socialize with family, friends, and neighbours at hall gatherings!
Alice Gregor
Alice Gregor moved to Heinsburg with her parents in 1929 and helped operate the family store. She served as Secretary Treasurer for the Heinsburg Community Club from 1955-1971. She was known for her delicious pies at the annual Harvest Suppers!
Grace & Alvin Meger
Grace and Alvin Meyer have been active members of the Community Club since 1977, with Alvin serving in various positions such as Vice-President and Treasurer, and Grace contributing as a bingo caller and social convener.
Charlie Thompson
Charlie Thompson was a hardworking farmer and a dedicated community leader. He served as the president of the community club from 1997-2001 and was known for his ability to collect door prizes during the club’s snow rally days.
JOYCE & MIKE NYCHYPORUK
Joyce and Mike Nychyporuk were active members of the Heinsburg Community Club from 1971. Joyce was a great organizer and supporter of various initiatives. Mike served as vice-president from 1975-1981 and Joyce was secretary for one term.
bertha & Chester botting
Bertha and Chester Botting were active members of the Heinsburg community, involved with the Community Club, Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Centre, and Old Timer’s Orchestra. They enjoyed collecting antiques and restoring old cars!
Hazel Jenner
Hazel served her community with compassion and kindness. She dedicated many years as a custodian for the Heinsburg Community Hall. Her contributions made her a valued member of the Heinsburg Community Club!
Susan & Gary fairbairn
Susan and Gary are long-time Club members who have been involved in various roles since 1991. They are both versatile and capable, and have contributed greatly to the smooth operation of the hall.
Marjorie & Roy
Scott
Marjorie and Roy Scott were active members of the Community Club since 1996. Marjorie served as the Club’s President for a total of 13 years. Roy was a wheelwright and a Club director who enjoyed leading wagon treks.
Donald & Della Kenner
Donald and Della Kenner have been actively involved in the Heinsburg Community Club since 1960, with Donald serving as President for nine years. Both have donated over 51 years of service to the Heinsburg Community Club.
Floyd & Eleanor Bendixen
Floyd and Eleanor Bendixen, managed a mixed-grain and cow-calf operation near Heinsburg. They were active members of the Heinsburg Community Club for twenty years, with Eleanor serving as Secretary for ten years and Floyd as Director for nine years!
Ella Botting
Ella Botting was an active member of the Heinsburg Community Club for 40 years. She was known for her exceptional cooking skills and outgoing personality. Her motto was “If you’re going to do the job, do it right!”
Ruolph Gregor
Rudolph Gregor built the first store in Heinsburg in 1929. He operated it until his death in 1991. He was a skilled woodworker and founding member of the Heinsburg Community Club, which appreciates his contributions.
Emma & Jim
Wilson
Jim and Emma Wilson moved to Heinsburg in 1949. Emma was a charter member of the Heinsburg Community Club. Both Jim and Emma volunteered for nearly fifteen years, helping with various projects and events.
Ron & Dorothy Jeffrey
During most of their adult life, Ron and Dorothy Jeffrey resided in Burnaby, B.C. They were actively involved in the Heinsburg Community Club, with Ron serving as a treasurer. Dorothy was always eager to lend a hand in the kitchen or with hall sanitation duties.

hall bookings Price List
1 Day rental:
1 day rental such as meetings, lunches, anniversaries, birthday parties, celebration of life (all these events would not include a liquor license) when a liquor license is required the below rate will be charged.
2 Day rental:
Includes up to 2 day rental such as dances, parties, any event requesting to provide alcohol. A liquor license is required and a copy needs to be provided upon rental.

Before keys are given, tenants must pay a damage deposit equal to the amount of rent. Please note that in addition to the rental fee, a $150 booking reservation fee must be collected upfront to reserve the hall. This fee is non-refundable if you cancel within two weeks of the event date. However, the $150 will be deducted from the rental price after the event if it is not cancelled.

Campsites are on a first come, first serve basis. Please tidy camping area and remove your own garbage and recyclables.
camp kitchen
Camp Kitchen day use is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please keep the area tidy and dispose of your own garbage and recyclables. There is no fee for the Camp Kitchen use but donations are encouraged.
gazebo
Gazebo day use is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no fee for the Gazebo use but donations are encouraged.
Camp kitchen cabin
Camping fees are accepted by cash, cheque, or e-transfer. Please make cheques out to Heinsburg Community Club. E-transfers can be sent to heinsburgcc01@gmail.com
Envelopes are in a box on the Camp Kitchen wall. Please fill out and place in metal cabin.
pet waste
Owners responsibility of cleaning and proper disposal of pets waste.
firewood & toiletries
Donations for firewood and toiletries are appreciated and can be collected in the Camp Kitchen Cabin.
